The word uniform means exactly the same. I remember when I what food was in elementary and high school, I would always need to be attending college already to leave wearing the identical thing again and again. But when I reached college, the wardrobe for the complete week became a problem in my experience. I had to check out second hand stores to be sure that I have sufficient wardrobe until the end of the semester.
Sometimes the need to wear the same group of clothes over and over again might be frustrating on the kids. They would feel dull and less fashionable. Blame it on the glossy magazines which advertise fashionable clothes.
There were some debates regarding wearing uniforms in class. Other would approve wearing uniforms to show unity and discipline in school. Imagine worrying getting a great look daily. When you have a uniform, there is no need to stress yourself much. It is also comforting to find out that while you are experiencing a poor hair day, if you reach school, everybody might wear exactly the same thing; you don’t need to exert so much effort in making you look good. You can also useful casual wears to get a trip on the mall or possibly a date night with many of your friends. It will also promote equality and oneness among students. You are not pressured to wear designer clothes only to feel “in” and belonged. It is good to feel part in the group and be able to be accepted.
Others would not agree to the advantages of school uniforms. They would reason that wearing regardless of the kid pleases is often a kind of self-expression. It can be a method of developing the kid’s personality. Parents believe investments in buying uniform are high. Because every student wears uniform, others would express themselves through wearing make ups and wearing accessories. Girls would result to wearing their skirts shorter as opposed to runners to produce a different personality and expressing themselves. Wearing a school uniform also prevents gangs at school and may recognize the intruders entering the teachers premises.
The debate about wearing school uniforms you aren’t goes so on as years use. In a democratic country such as the Philippines, it is once approved by the Department of Education not to utilize school uniforms but make sure to use something acceptable and respectable in school. Others would point out that wearing a school uniform would develop the newborn’s sense of responsibility. There are also arguments that suggest grades of students improved since the school ordered wearing of college uniforms. We cannot deny that wearing school uniforms contribute on the well-being of an student. It will provide safety and teach every child the feeling of responsibility. As parents, we should support the teachers with what you think is useful for students, our youngsters. There are arguments among students about repressing their rights. Let us just use it in this way, wearing a school uniform is a preparation of wearing uniform if you start working.
